After the murder of Atiq Ahmed, CM Yogi Adityanath appeared in a public program for the first time on Tuesday. During this, he gave his first reaction on the law and order of the state after the massacre. At the same time, the Chief Minister has also given a strict warning. Addressing this program, the CM said that now the mafia cannot scare anyone.
CM Yogi said, “Each and every capital of those who invest in UP will be protected. There was a period in UP when the identity of UP was destroyed. The progress of UP is not hidden from anyone. Kanpur was once the center of textile industry. The identity of UP is coming back again. Now there is excellent connectivity in UP.”

The Chief Minister said, “Before 2017, the law and order situation in UP was worse. Now the mafia cannot scare anyone. Now there is no riot in any district of UP. Our government made UP riot free. There is rule of law in UP now. Now the mafia cannot threaten anyone. No curfew has been imposed in six years. There is rule of law in UP now. Earlier there used to be daily riots in UP.”
Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf Ahmed were shot dead on April 15 last. It is worth noting that former MP Atiq Ahmed and his brother and former MLA Ashraf, accused in the Umesh Pal murder case, were shot dead by three assailants during a conversation with the media at around 10 pm on Saturday. At the time of the incident, the police was taking Atiq and Ashraf to the hospital for medical examination.
