England veteran batsman Jason Roy, opening for Quetta Gladiators, created history by playing the most surprising and biggest innings in PSL history. This explosive batsman gave the team a memorable victory by scoring an unbeaten 145 runs in 63 balls. (PSL)
In response to the mammoth target of 241 runs met by Peshawar Zalmi, Roy completed a fiery century in just 44 balls and then remained unbeaten till the end to give the team victory 10 balls earlier. Roy hit a six in the 19th over to give the team victory. During this, Roy hit 20 fours and 5 sixes. (PSL)
During this, Roy easily achieved the target by sharing an unbeaten 93-run partnership in just 39 balls with Mohammad Hafeez (41 runs, 18 balls). This is the biggest successful run chase not only in PSL but also in the history of franchise cricket. A total of 483 runs were scored in this match, which also became a new record in PSL. (PSL)
Earlier, captain Babar Azam played an excellent inning for Peshawar and scored an unbeaten 115 runs (65 balls, 15 fours, 3 sixes). This was his first century in PSL history.
