MP News:In order to empower Women of Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has decided to include the women between the age group of 21-23in the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behen Yojna. The CM said we will include all those women who did not get the chance to join the scheme due to the Four wheeler criteria, but they all have less than 5 acres of land and tractors.
‘12 million women have benefited from the scheme’
The MP CM had been working on the ‘Ladli Behan Yojna ‘ scheme for a long period of time. So far around 12 million women have benefited from the scheme. They have been getting Rs1000 every month as a part of the scheme. The CM had also launched electronic transfer of money in the bank accounts of these women so that they don’t have to face the hurdle of visiting the bank again and again.
‘The Money will be gradually increased’
The CM said the money will be gradually increased and it will be 3000Rs per month for all the sisters and mothers who are a part of the scheme. The CM has also reduced the age of women who can benefit from this scheme. Earlier the money was given to the women who is 23 yrs old , but now even 21 year old can avail the benefit of the scheme.
