Weather Update: With the ongoing adverse impact of the prevailing weather conditions on numerous lives, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued its most recent bulletin, forecasting substantial downpours in various regions across the nation. This includes areas such as Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Assam, and Manipur.

According to the latest forecasts provided by the IMD, there is a high probability of rain ranging from light to heavy in Uttarakhand and East Uttar Pradesh spanning from August 21 to 23. Additionally, West Uttar Pradesh is expected to experience similar rainfall patterns during the period of August 21 to 23.

There’s a possibility of heavy rainfall affecting regions such as Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana. The likelihood of fairly widespread rains and thunderstorms exists across multiple areas, including Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, West Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathawada, Telangana, Coastal Karnataka, and North Interior Karnataka.

Delhi

The national capital will experience scatted thunderstorms and moderate rainfall in the morning. However, there will be relief from noon and the sky will be partly covered by the clouds. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees while the minimum will be 28 degrees with humidity at 76%.

Mumbai

Showers will continue to drench the Mumbai. However, the intensity is likely to reduce from the evening. The sky will mostly remain cloudy. For today, the maximum temperature will be 29 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 90%.

Chennai

Chennai will have a partly cloudy sky until the evening. However, post-evening this will turn into mostly cloudy. Although, there are no chances of rain happening. The temperature will be 35 degrees to 27 degrees with humidity at 76%.

Kolkata

IMD has forecast scattered thunderstorms for Kolkata and its surrounding regions. However, some relief is forecast as evenings are likely to have little showers. For today, the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 84%.
