Guwahati: If the eyes are on the big players in IPL, then everyone wants to see the performance of new and young faces. Some of these players collect a huge amount in the auction on the basis of their performance in domestic cricket, but not everyone is able to perform accordingly. Punjab Kings Young wicket-keeper batsman Prabhsimran Singh is also one such player who got high amount but then he failed. Now that the price has come down, he has started batting with a bang in IPL 2023.

Punjab had bet crores
Prabhsimran Singh made his IPL debut in 2019 at the age of 18. Then Punjab bought him in the auction for a whopping amount of Rs 4.80 crore, which surprised everyone. Prabhsimran has been identified as an explosive batsman from the beginning but he could not repeat it in IPL. Then in 2022, Punjab released him and bought him in mega auction for just Rs 60 lakh. That means a loss of Rs 4.20 crore.
Before the start of the IPL 2023 season, Prabhasimran had played only 6 matches, in which he could score only 64 runs. After this, in the first match of IPL 2023, he had expressed his intentions by playing a fast inning of 23 runs.
