News agency PTI has told in its report that Sarfaraz did not take part in the practice match at Eden Gardens on Sunday. The Irani Cup match will be played in Gwalior from March 1. Due to the injury, Sarfaraz wore a protective fiber cast on his finger and did not bat or field. However, he was helping his teammates by giving them energy drinks. Sarfaraz played six Ranji Trophy matches this season, scoring 556 runs at an average of 92. Three centuries and one half-century came out of his bat.

Pant had to take place
Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant became a victim of a car accident on 30 December last year. For this reason, he is out of the next season of IPL. There were reports that Sarfaraz would replace Pant in the IPL as a wicketkeeper. Sarfaraz has been advised to rest for eight to 10 days, in such a situation, Delhi should not worry, but if Sarfaraz’s injury is serious then there can be trouble for Delhi.
Mayank Agarwal will captain
