Sachin Pilot During Jab Sangharsh Yatra

Former Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot’s ‘Jan Sangharsh Yatra’ has begun. This padyatra started from Dudu city of Jaipur district on Saturday.

Congress leader Pilot is on a mass struggle tour against his own party’s government on the issue of corruption. On May 11, the pilot started his 125 km Ajmer-Jaipur ‘Jan Sangharsh Yatra’. During this, a large number of supporters were also seen with him.

Discord in the party before the assembly elections
Congress and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot are being deeply affected by this five-day visit. The assembly elections are going to be held at the end of this year and just a few months before that, the party is facing infighting and anti-incumbency wave.

The march comes days after Gehlot accused the MLAs involved in the 2020 rebellion of taking money from the BJP.

Pilot and 18 other Congress MLAs then demanded a change of leadership in Rajasthan. It was only after this that he was removed from the post of party’s state unit president and deputy chief minister. Ever since the party formed the government in 2018, two strong Congress leaders in Rajasthan have been at loggerheads over the chief minister’s post.

‘We are winning in Karnataka’

Former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot has claimed that only Congress will win the elections in Karnataka. During the yatra on 12th May he said that we are winning in Karnataka because we raised the issue of 40 per cent commission government against Basavaraj Bommai. People trusted us on this. That’s why we are getting majority. We also raised the issue of corruption in Rajasthan but no action has been taken in four and a half years, so how can people have faith in us.
