Due to the anticipated intensity of these heavy rains, a red alert has been issued for the Himalayan state over this 48-hour duration.
Isolated areas in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim should anticipate very to extremely heavy rainfall. There’s a possibility of heavy to very heavy precipitation in scattered locations across Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Bihar, West Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh. Some areas in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Jharkhand, East Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh are predicted to experience significant rainfall.
Delhi

Kolkata
IMD has forecast intense rainfall and thunderstorms in the Kolkata region for today as well. There is no relief projected for the region in the upcoming days as well. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 92%.
