Ravindra Jadeja caught a dangerous catch on his own ball, narrowly saved umpire

New Delhi. Be it batting, bowling or fielding, Ravindra Jadeja does wonders everywhere. Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Jadeja did wonders in the 12th match of IPL 2023 against Mumbai Indians. He took 3 wickets for 20 runs. Ishaan Kishan, Cameron Green and Tilak Verma became victims of Jadeja. He also did amazing fielding during this. He took a dangerous catch of Green. In the process of catching the catch, Jadeja’s finger also suffered a minor injury.

The umpire also narrowly escaped injury on this shot of Green. The matter is of the 9th over of Mumbai’s innings. Green hit a straight hard shot on Jadeja’s ball. Jadeja was seen escaping at first, but the next moment the ball got stuck in his hand and it became his super catch. No one believed in this catch of Jadeja.

Umpire and Jadeja survive

However, Jadeja and the umpire narrowly escaped on this shot of Green. The umpire saved himself by bowing down. Jadeja also escaped from being a victim of serious injury. However, he later appeared troubled by the pain in his fingers. Green could score only 12 runs. In front of Jadeja wreaking havoc, Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians could only manage 157 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs.

Jadeja and Deshpande’s havoc

Ishaan Kishan scored the maximum 32 runs for Mumbai. Apart from Ishaan, Tim David hit 31 runs. Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma could score only 21 runs. Apart from Jadeja for Chennai, Tushar Deshpande took 2 for 31 and Mitchell Santner took 2 for 28.
