Gujarat School Education: To give a new direction to the education system in Gujarat, a big decision has been taken by the state government. All schools in the state will now be taught in PPP mode without any hassle. Public Private Partnership (PPP Model) A panel of 10 members has been prepared by the state government to solve every problem related to it.

Announcing the formation of the committee, Gujarat Education Secretary Vinod Rao said that the committee will submit its report to the state government in the next meeting. The committee will have two representatives each from five education unions.

Big decision in the field of school education

Various schools, teacher and principal associations of the state met the education minister for better education system in Gujarat. During this, Education Minister Kuber Dindor, Minister of State for Primary and Secondary Education Praful Pansheriya and Education Secretary Vinod Rao were involved.

The committee will meet on April 12 and, if necessary, will meet again on April 15. After this, Gyan Setu Residential School, Gyan Setu Residential School, Gyan Shakti Residential School and Raksha Shakti Residential School will submit report within a week. The report will have recommendations for these schools on PPP mode.

More schools will join in the next session

In the upcoming academic session of 2023-24, the education department will add four different types of schools from class 6 onwards. In this, Gyan Setu Day School, Gyan Setu Residential School, Gyan Shakti Residential School and Raksha Shakti Residential School have been proposed.

Various associations in the state claimed that the move would affect around 1.68 lakh government school students annually and pose a threat to the district panchayat government schools in the state. He also alleged that the government wanted to withdraw its support from Zilla Panchayat and corporation-run schools and wanted to support private schools.
