Approval will have to be taken from Admin
The new feature on the latest version of WhatsApp beta for iOS and Android helps the admin to manage the number of members in the group. On enabling this, users will see a message in the group chat that new participants have to take approval from the admin before joining the group. If the participants have the invitation link of the group, then also the approval of the admin will have to be taken.

The option to approve new group members is really great for admins who want to control who gets added to the group. Apart from this, admins will also be able to control public communities with a large number of participants.
Go to group settings to see the new settings. Here you will get an option named ‘Approve New Participants’. By turning it on, you will be able to control the group in a better way.
