UP Sanskrit Board Result 2023: The results of the 10th and 12th board exams have been declared by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Sanskrit Education. Irfan has topped the Sanskrit Board 12th (Uttar Madhyama-II) examination. He has got 82.71 per cent marks. On the other hand, the student is Gangotri Devi, who has got 80.57 percent marks. Sanskrit board exams were held from 23 February to 20 March.
Irfan’s father Salauddin is happy that his son has topped the Sanskrit Board 12th exam. Irfan is the only Muslim student to score in the top 20 in class 10th and class 12th examinations. Irfan has left behind 13,738 students who appeared in the 12th examination. And in the Sanskrit Board 10th examination (East Madhyama-II), Aditya of Ballia district secured the first position with 92.50 percent marks.

According to media reports, Salahuddin said that I was happy that the son chose a different subject for studies and I encouraged him. It was a different choice because we are Muslims, but he was keen on it. That’s why I didn’t stop him. He said that these things do not matter to us.
BA pass father does farming
Irfan is a resident of Jindaspur village in Chandauli district under Sakaldiha tehsil. Salahuddin, 51, a BA graduate, is an agricultural laborer. He told how his son got interested in Sanskrit. He told that when it was a compulsory subject.
Then he started studying Sanskrit in junior classes. He liked the topic and said he wanted to pursue it further. It was his choice, so I encouraged him to study Sanskrit.
He wants to do Shastri (equivalent to B.Ed) and Acharya (equivalent to MA) and then wants to become a Sanskrit teacher. Irfan has studied at Prabhupur’s Shri Sampurnanand Sanskrit Higher Secondary School. Salauddin said that we do not agree with the thinking that only Hindus should study Sanskrit and only Muslims should study Urdu.
