Hyderabad: Mumbai Indians defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 14 runs at their home in the IPL-2023 match on Tuesday. With this, Mumbai scored a hat-trick of victories this season. Batting first, Mumbai scored 192 runs losing five wickets in 20 overs on the basis of Cameron Green’s unbeaten innings of 64 runs. Hyderabad got piled on 178 runs in 19.5 overs in front of this huge score.
Mumbai had earlier defeated Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals. At the same time, Hyderabad came into this match after defeating Kolkata and Punjab Kings. After this victory, Mumbai’s team has come in sixth place in the points table.

Green did wonders
Mumbai got a chance to bat first in this match. Captain Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan tried to get the team off to a fast start. But Rohit could not go much further. After scoring 28 runs in 18 balls, he was dismissed by T Natarajan. Aiden Markram took his brilliant catch. After this Ishan got the support of Green. Both of them scored fast and took the team’s score to 87.
Ishan, however, could not complete his half-century. He got out after scoring 38 runs in 31 balls hitting three fours and two sixes. Markram took another brilliant catch on the ball of Marco Janson. But Green continued his stormy innings. He scored runs in a stormy fashion.

got the support of Tilak Verma
After Ishan’s dismissal, it was expected that Suryakumar Yadav would regain his lost form in this match but he could not take his innings beyond seven runs. He was hunted by Janson. But after this Green got the support of Tilak Verma. Tilak also scored very fast. This left-handed batsman scored 37 runs in 17 balls with the help of two fours and four sixes.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar took his wicket, but Hyderabad could not get relief from Green. Green completed his half-century in the 18th over with a hat-trick of fours on Natarajan. He remained unbeaten after scoring 64 runs off 40 balls. In this innings he hit six fours and two sixes. This is Green’s first half-century of IPL.

Bad start for Hyderabad, Brook fails
Harry Brook, who scored his first century in this IPL, was expected to give Hyderabad a strong start in front of the mammoth target of 193 runs set by Mumbai. But he got out early. He was dismissed by Jason Behrendorff on the fourth ball of the second over. Here Hyderabad’s score was only 11 runs. Rahul Tripathi also could not go much further and became Jason’s second victim after scoring seven runs. Hyderabad had lost their two wickets for 25 runs.
The other opener Mayank Agarwal was holding one end and he needed support from the other end. Captain Markram supported him. Both took the team’s score to 71. Here Markram got out after scoring 22 runs. He scored 22 runs in 17 balls. Abhishek Sharma became the victim of Piyush Chawla by scoring one run.
Heinrich Klaasen failed
From here Hyderabad’s hopes rested on Mayank and Heinrich Klaasen. But both of them also failed. Klaasen scored a quick 36 off 16 balls. His innings included four fours and two sixes. He became the victim of Piyush Chawla on a total score of 127. Mayank also could not complete his half-century and got out after scoring 48 runs. Hyderabad could not return from here again.
Marco Yanson 13, Washington Sundar 10, Abdul Samad got out after scoring 9 runs. Jason, Riley Meredith, Piyush Chawla took two wickets each for Mumbai.
