Manish Sisodia turns emotional ahead of CBI questioning, says ‘my wife was sick, she will be alone’

Manish Sisodia: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia addressed a road show on Sunday ahead of CBI questioning. Addressing Aam Aadmi Supporters (AAP), he said that he will be in jail for doing ‘good deeds,’ as he alleged falsely being framed in the Delhi Liquor Policy case.

On Sunday, Sisodia was seen talking to people ahead of his CBI questioning.  Leading a roadshow in the national capital, Sisodia stood out of the sunroof of his car and said, “My wife will be alone at home when I get arrested today. Take care of my family,” he said. 

During his emotional address, he added, “Don’t think that if Manish chacha is going to jail, holidays in schools have started.” He urged the children of Delhi to focus on studies and said, “I will leave my food if you don’t study properly.”

“Today, I am going to the CBI. Will fully cooperate in the probe. I have the love of lakhs of children and crores of countrymen with me. Even if I have to go to jail for a few months, I do not care. We are followers of Bhagat Singh. Bhagat Singh died for the country. If I have to go to jail over such false allegations, it is a small thing, Sisodia had earlier tweeted.

Manish Sisodia visits Rajghat

Manish Sisodia met his mother on Sunday and also went to the Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial at Delhi’s Rajghat to seek his blessings. Meanwhile, AAP leaders have alleged that they have been put under house arrest.

Sisodia who handles the financial portfolio in Delhi was summoned by the CBI last week. However, he had sought deferment of his questioning in the wake of ongoing budget exercise.
