Weather Update: The change in weather across the country has taken a turn now. States such as Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi-NCR region have been forecast to remain dry today. Himachal Pradesh has been put on a yellow alert. However, anticipate widespread rainfall accompanied by isolated instances of thunderstorms and intense downpours across Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, and Sikkim.
There is a potential for substantial rainfall in certain areas of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, and Bihar. The remaining regions of the country, excluding Rajasthan and Saurashtra-Kutch, can expect sporadic to dispersed rainfall. However, several other regions are likely to receive isolated rainfall in Madhya Pradesh.
Delhi has been forecast to remain mostly sunny the entire day. Some isolated regions might see patches of clouds in the evening. There is no chance of rainfall and the conditions will remain hot & humid. For today, the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with the humidity at 63%.
IMD has forecast light rains in Mumbai and its suburbs for the entire day. The cloud cover is most likely in the region as well. For today, the maximum temperature will be 29 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with the humidity at 87%.
As per the latest weather update, Chennai has been predicted to be sunny in the morning. Cloud cover will take on the city from afternoon while some scattered thunderstorms will lash the region from evening. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with the humidity at 85%.
Kolkata is forecast to receive thunderstorms in the morning. However, the intensity will lower down by the evening and only clouds will be there until the night. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees while the minimum will be 28 degrees with the humidity at 90%.
