Inflation driving Thanksgiving meal prices higher, as seen in NYC –

Thanksgiving meal prices have risen this year due to inflation, as seen in footage taken in New York’s supermarket on Wednesday.

For example, Thanksgiving turkey prices are reported to have increased by 21-23 per cent since 2021, claiming to have even hit an all-time record high.

“Yeah, it is; the [prices of] turkeys are very high; I don’t know how much because my daughter bought it a long time ago, but they are high; all the prices are high, even the flowers’,” said Alana, a resident.

Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States. It is the beginning of the holiday season, which includes Christmas and lasts until New Year’s Day.
