American hospitality company Hilton this week announced the opening of its first Waldorf Astoria hotel in India in Jaipur. Spread over 22 acres, this hotel with 51 pool villas and 174 guest rooms is scheduled to open in 2027.

Radisson Hotel Group has said that it will open its first Radisson Collection hotel in the country in Hyderabad within three years. The Radisson Collection is an entry-level luxury lifestyle brand launched in 2017, when the hospitality group introduced a new brand architecture. Minor Hotels will launch its luxury Anantara brand in Jaipur in the fourth quarter of 2023. Minor is an international hotel owner, operator and investor company with more than 530 hotels operational in 56 countries across Asia Pacific, Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia Pacific. Dilip Rajakarier, Group CEO of Minor International and CEO of Minor Hotels, said that Anantara is a brand that competes with brands like Four Seasons and Mandarin Oriental. He said that Wyndham’s trademark collection, which is our soft brand, has immense potential in India. He said that last year he had bought a brand named Vienna House in Europe. Which will be launched in India in 18 months.
