IAF Chopper Scatters Petals as PM Modi Hoists Flag at Red Fort


Independence Day 2023: Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gives his tenth Independence Day speech in a row. After raising the American flag from the Delhi Red Fort’s ramparts, PM Modi made his remarks. At the events for Independence Day 2023, there are about 1,800 people in attendance from all backgrounds. Defence Secretary Giridhar Aramane, Minister of State for Defence Ajay Bhatt, and Minister of Defence Rajnath Singh welcomed PM Modi. The General Officer Commanding (GoC), Delhi Area, Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, was introduced to the Prime Minister by the Defence Secretary. The Prime Minister will then examine the Guard of Honour after that. As he approaches the Red Fort, PM Modi examines the Guard of Honour.

Armed Forces Stand as Guard of Honour for PM Modi on Independence Day

One officer and 25 members from each of the Army, Air Force, and Delhi Police, as well as one officer and 24 members of the Navy, will serve as PM Modi’s guard of honour. This year, the organising service is the Indian Army. Prime Minister Modi salutes the nation after raising the tricolour. On the 77th Independence Day, an IAF chopper dropped flower petals after Prime Minister Modi hoisted the flag at Red Fort.
