Bengaluru: Even though there is a debate going on about the strike rate of Royal Challengers Bangalore star batsman Virat Kohli, the former Bangalore captain is scoring runs continuously. In his fourth match of IPL 2023, Virat Kohli scored another strong half-century and put Bangalore in a strong position against Delhi Capitals. Although Kohli, who was seen achieving explosive rhythm, could not take his innings much further and the style of his dismissal surprised Anushka Sharma as well.
Kohli once again entertained the Bangalore fans after scoring an impressive 61 runs at Chinnaswamy Stadium three-five days back. When the team’s first batting came, Kohli started with a bang. Kohli hit two fours in the very first over. However, after the early dismissal of Faf Duplesey, the pace slowed down a bit, but Kohli helped the team recover by playing some good shots after that.

In the 10th over, Kohli first hit Mustafizur Rahman for a four and then hit a six as well. Kohli took a single on the last ball of this over and completed his third half-century of the season in 33 balls. Kohli punched his chest in excitement as soon as he completed Fifty. The enthusiasm was at its peak in Chinnaswamy but Kohli was dismissed on the very first ball of the 11th over.

The way Kohli got out also surprised everyone. Lalit Yadav bowled a lovely full toss and in an attempt to hit it for a six, Kohli hit a very high shot. He was caught out at the deep midwicket boundary.

Kohli played an inning of 50 runs in 34 balls, in which 6 fours and 1 six came out of his bat. During this innings, Kohli also completed his 2500 runs at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. He became the first batsman in IPL history to cross the 2500-run mark at a single venue.
