In fact, Hero MotoCorp has signed an agreement with Zero Motorcycles, an EV and powertrain maker. Under this, Hero MotoCorp will be helped in making premium range Electric Motorcycles in India.
Hero MotoCorp will spend Rs 495 crore
Due to the new deal, Hero MotoCorp’s manufacturing, sourcing and marketing are expected to improve. At the same time, the features of Zero will be found in the company’s Electric Bikes and Powertrain. In an announcement made in September 2022, Hero MotoCorp’s board approved equity investment of up to $60 million (about Rs 495 crore) in Zero Motorcycles.

Hero’s Electric Scooter
Hero MotoCorp has launched the first EV Vida V1 Electric Scooter under its mobility brand Vida. The company has started operation of its public charging infrastructure in Bengaluru, Delhi and Jaipur. Along with this, the company has set up around 300 charging points in 3 cities for public use.
