Heavy Rainfall To Remain Persistent Over the Next Few Days; Red Alert Issued In THESE States; Read Here

Weather Update: IMD has issued a red alert in Gujarat as the state is set to face heavy rainfall for a few days. The intensity of the rain showers will gradually increase. IMD has predicted the whole northwestern region under the scrutiny of heavy rainfall.

NDRF is on standby in Gujarat in case of any flood-like situation. On the other hand, many parts of Maharastra have faced heavy rainfall in the isolated areas. The metrological department has stated that the state will face heavy rainfall in isolated areas for the next three days.

Many areas of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry will also face heavy rainfall in the upcoming days. Coastal areas of Arunachal Pradesh are also in the same boat in the upcoming days.

Weather Update: Delhi

The national capital of the country is also set to face heavy to very heavy rainfall in the upcoming days. Monday might be a calm day but the heavy monsoon is raging to enter the capital once again. Today’s temperature will be between 35 degrees to 28 degrees.

Mumbai

Heavy to Very Heavy rainfall is set to fall over the isolated areas of Mumbai and the residents are advised to pay caution. There can be a flood-like situation because of the water logging. The temperature will be between 28 to 27 degrees.

Chennai

Chennai alongside a few other parts of Tamil Nadu will receive moderate to heavy rainfalls in the next 3-4 days. The Regional Metrological Department has issued an orange alert over the city with the temperature remaining between 32 degrees to 27 degrees.

Kolkata

Monsoon is all set to return as various parts of the city are predicted to receive scattered rainfall. The temperature might see a slight dip because of the rain and will fluctuate between 32 degrees to 27 degrees.
