Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is known for her outspokenness. The actress openly presents her opinion on every issue. However, due to her statements, Kangana is often seen surrounded in controversies. His words sometimes get heavy on him. Some time ago, famous writer Javed Aksar had filed a defamation case against Kangana Ranaut for a statement. In this case, a magistrate court in Mumbai has accepted the petition presented by Javed Akhtar.
In fact, in his petition, Javed Akhtar had demanded an early hearing of the case against Kangana. The court will now hear the matter on March 23. The magistrate court last heard the matter on November 23, 2022. In which the date of April 19, 2023 was chosen for the next hearing. After getting a date after five months, Javed Akhtar’s lawyer Jai Bhardwaj had said, “The complainant is a senior citizen, it would be in the interest of justice that the date of the case be extended in advance.”
At the same time, on this matter, advocate Rizwan Siddiqui, appearing for Kangana Ranaut, said that there are two cases which have been clubbed together. Along with Akhtar’s complaint against Kangana, the actor’s own complaint against the veteran lyricist is also to be heard. Kangana’s lawyer further said that a decision is yet to be taken on Kangana’s application under Section 311 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

If we talk about the whole matter, then Javed Akhtar had filed a complaint against Kangana Ranaut, stating that in 2020 she tried to malign her name on a television channel. On the other hand, Kangana had said that Akhtar had no interference between her and actor Hrithik Roshan. Accusing Javed Akhtar, the actress said that Javed Akhtar had called a meeting in March 2016 where he tried to intimidate her. In the year 2016, Kangana had also filed a complaint against Javed Akhtar regarding that matter.
