Elon Musk in the US state of Nevada X.AI Corporation one of the names AI Company has been created. According to media reports, Musk’s name is listed as a director of the company, which was incorporated on March 9, according to state business filings. Earlier, billionaire Elon Musk is working on launching an artificial intelligence start-up that will compete with ChatGPT-maker OpenAI.

Recently Musk merged Twitter with a newly created shell company named X, retaining the brand name. Despite Musk’s previous open letter calling for a pause in AI development, the move is seen as a possible competitor to ChatGPT maker OpenAI.

Elon Musk will compete with ChatGPT

  • According to reports, Musk has invested in powerful computing processors and hired engineering talent for AI projects at Twitter while also implementing necessary cost-cutting measures with layoffs.
  • Recall that the founding date of X.AI is before Musk wrote an open letter advocating a six-month pause in the development of a powerful AI system.
  • Companies ranging from Microsoft Corp. to Alphabet Inc. are pushing to incorporate generative AI, the technology behind ChatGPT, into their chatbots.
  • Billionaire Tesla Chief and other veterans have written that AI systems can pose a big threat to society and humanity.

It is not confirmed whether this company is connected to Musk’s AI start-up process. Musk was one of the co-founders of OpenAI. Open AI was developed in 2015 but he resigned from the company’s board in 2018.
