Daughters topped in PG, University honored with Gold Medal

VBSPU Dikshant Samaroh 2023: Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University has awarded gold medals to three girl students for topping PG. All the three girl students are residents of Ghazipur. This honor was given to the girl students at the 26th convocation ceremony held on 23 February at the university campus.

Professor Dr. Raghavendra Kumar Pandey, Principal of Post Graduate College, Ghazipur, said that all the girl students awarded with the Chancellor’s Medal will soon be honored at the college level as well, on the birth centenary year of the ex-secretary/manager.

Professor Dr. Raghavendra Kumar Pandey, Principal of Post Graduate College Ghazipur told that Ankita Rai’s daughter Manoj Kumar Rai has topped Purvanchal University by scoring 1175 out of 1600 marks in BPE. While Neha Yadav daughter Rajnath Singh Yadav topped in Medieval and Modern History by securing 737 marks out of 1000 and Kumari Monika Sharma daughter Satya Prakash Sharma topped the university by securing 1009 marks out of 1200 in M.Sc.

Dialogue program will be organized

The principal told that a formal dialogue program will be organized. Gold medal winning girl students can interact with other students of the college, so that by taking inspiration from these girl students, other students can also get better marks. Through this dialogue, other students will also be able to know the tips to make a good study plan and prepare better at the time of examination.

Tell that the foundation of PG College Ghazipur was laid in 1957 by Late Rajeshwar Prasad Singh. Presently 7000 students are studying in different courses in the college.
