New Delhi. Riyan Parag scored a half-century in IPL 2023 on Saturday. Despite this, he broke the hearts of about 12 lakh people of Guwahati. Actually the whole of Assam was waiting for Parag. The whole of Assam was eager to see the power of his bat. The enthusiasm of the people of Guwahati was even higher. Why not, Guwahati is the home of Parag. He landed on the Guwahati ground with a bat, but his form broke the hearts of the people of Guwahati.
Not just once, Parag disappointed the fans twice in 4 days. His bat remained calm first against Punjab Kings and then against Delhi Capitals. Parag scored a half-century on Saturday, but this half-century is to play an IPL match and he could not make this special match memorable.

Parag flopped in all three matches
Rajasthan Royals challenged Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals in Guwahati. So far in this season of IPL, Parag’s bat has not worked. In the first match, he was able to score only 7 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad, but it was expected that his bat would be on fire at home. But his form was not visible even in Guwahati. He was able to score only 20 runs against Punjab Kings.

Against Delhi, he was able to stay at the crease for only 16 minutes and after scoring 7 runs, he was bowled by Rovman Powell. Talking about Parag’s IPL performance, he scored 565 runs in 40 innings of 50 matches at an average of 16.35. During this, he hit 2 half-centuries.
