Weather Update: The weather in the country is not expected to change, despite the presence of an active Western Disturbance today. Instead, temperatures in many parts of the state are predicted to rise. Delhi & Uttar Pradesh are expected to experience more heat in several areas. Although the sky may be cloudy on Thursday, it will still feel to be quite warm.
Around the weekend, there is a chance of light rain in several parts of India, including Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and South Interior Karnataka.
Arunachal Pradesh is expected to have fairly widespread rain and thunderstorms, while scattered rain and thundershowers are expected in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala and Mahe. Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh may experience rain or snowfall with thunder, and there is a possibility of hailstorms in Uttarakhand.

Delhi
IMD has predicted that the national capital Delhi will be experiencing a completely sunny and clear weather today. Likely, the heatwave will now start to intense in the region. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 31 degrees and minimum will be 18 degrees.
Mumbai
Wednesday is predicted to be clear and sunny in the city and its suburbs. However, partly overcast conditions are likely to begin over the weekend. The maximum temperature will be 33 degrees and minimum will be 26 degrees.
Chennai
IMD predicts Chennai to be partly overcast, although, no rains or any significant weather activity is projected in the city today. The maximum temperature will be 33 degrees and minimum will be 27 degrees.

Kolkata
As per the latest weather update, Kolkata will be partly overcast. Although, the temperature will continue to be on a higher end. Maximum temperature for today will be 37 degrees and minimum will be 26 degrees.
