Usman made a big record
Even though Usman missed out on a double century, this player did a feat which no Australian player could ever do before. In fact, Usman Khawaja became the first Australian batsman to play 400 balls in an innings in India. Usman played 422 balls, breaking Graham Yallop’s record of playing 392 balls. Not only this, in the last 10 years, Usman is the first player in the world to play more than 400 balls in an innings against India at his home.
Usman overtakes Steve Smith
Let us tell you that Usman Khawaja has the record of making the biggest score in India among the current Australian cricketers. Usman left behind Steve Smith, who scored an unbeaten 178 in the year 2017.
