Sakaria hunted for the fourth time
Lucknow captain Rahul spent 12 balls to score these 8 runs. However, before getting out, Rahul had hit an excellent six over deep midwicket. Rahul flicked the ball of Delhi’s left-arm pacer Chetan Sakaria but was caught out at deep square leg. With this, Sakariya made Rahul his victim for the fourth time in IPL.

By the way, Rahul’s early dismissal did not affect Lucknow much and Kyle Meyers became the reason for this. Lucknow, which scored only 19 runs in the first 4 overs, had completed 100 runs till Meyers was dismissed in the 12th over. Out of this, 73 runs were scored by Meyers alone. The West Indies all-rounder, making his debut in IPL, scored 73 runs in just 38 balls, hitting 7 sixes and 2 fours. Meyers’ Windies partner Nicholas Pooran also played a quick and important inning of 36 runs in 21 balls. Lucknow scored a total of 193 runs.
